Secure Security Insights Jobs Become “Stuck” for Org That Has WithSecure Cloud Protection Installed

    WithSecure Cloud Protection configurations previously caused Security Insights jobs to become stuck on the “Exploring High Risk Object Access” step. The Secure team worked with WithSecure to resolve this issue with the 23.2 build of Secure. If an Org is running an older version and encountering this issue, please update the installed version of Secure.

    A one time update is required for the Cloud Protection app to resolve this issue:

    1. Ensure the installed version of Secure is 23.2 or later.
    2. In Salesforce, open the Cloud Protection app.
    3. Select the Administration tab.
    4. Select the Settings section.
    5. Click “Configure excluded file types and extensions… on the right side of the section. A modal is displayed with a list of excluded file types.
    6. In the text box at the top of the list, enter "ownbackup/text" and click Add to add a new exclusion to the list.
    7. Scroll down the list and ensure the new addition is listed. Click Save  to finish the exclusion process.

    This update to Cloud Protection, combined with the changes made in the Secure 23.2 release, allows the Security Insights job to complete.
