Secure Package Installation Errors

This article covers package installation errors and how to resolve them.

    • Permissions issues:
      • Ensure the user account has the proper permissions to install a package to the Org.

    • Storage issues:
      • Install Failed with the message “Data Storage Limits Exceeded”:
        • Ensure there is enough available storage space.
        • Ensure there are enough static resources.
        • Orgs are provided with 250MB of static resources and Secure uses roughly 17.5MB of those resources.
        • Usage can be checked by performing the following:
          • Navigate to Setup.
          • Search for and select Storage Usage.
        • Usage can be queried by using the following query:
          • Select NamespacePrefix, Sum(BodyLength) from
            StaticResource group by NamespacePrefix

    • Your request to install the package "Secure Winter '23" was unsuccessful. None of the data or setup information in the Org was affected.  If the install continues to fail, contact Salesforce CRM Support and provide the following information:
      • Data Storage Limits Exceeded
        • The Org has exceeded its data storage limits, including an extra overflow buffer. Per the terms and conditions, the install cannot permit additional data creation within the system until the Org reduces its current data storage. Contact an Org administrator to resolve this issue.
